I actually can’t believe I haven’t shared this recipe with you yet. When I first started making cupcakes, I chose a chocolate cupcake recipe from Martha Stewart. Over the years I have tweaked the recipe a little bit and they are simply the best chocolate cupcakes I have ever had.

You get the best of everything. Crunchy edges of chocolate cake and almost a batter effect in the middle. All served hot and preferably with a scoop of delicious ice cream.

I wanted to come up with a healthy chili recipe that had something special about it. Chili is pretty much always…good. I love the flavors but it can be somewhat boring, lacking some excitement. It takes something special to make great chili. My two secret ingredients make for the best bowl of chili you have ever had!

Dark Chocolate Cranberry Granola Bars

The ingredients are simple. I used old fashioned oats, some honey, coconut oil, almonds, dark chocolate and dried cherries. I chose dark chocolate and cherries because I absolutely love the combo but the beauty of this recipe is you can completely customize it. Just use the base recipe and then whatever additions you like! I have done pistachios, walnuts and macadamia nuts which are all delicious. I personally think any kind of dried fruit is an excellent addition and of course, a little chocolate.
